I am a german advanced diver started with 25 logged dives. I was at the camp with my girlfriend. We were very pleased. I did mainly fundives and she did her raid advanced course. The instructures were well educated in defining specied and showed us their beloved house reef. We were very pleased as biology PhD students to be introduced in red sea marine life. Instructers respect the marine life and are very gentle and patient to animals and us as divers. My girlfriend was better educated for her advanced certificate than I was for her advanced course and afterwards the table has turned so she tought to improve my diving skills on out boat diving safari afterwards with Big Blue. We would recommed to choose Pharao and Big Blue for your course and diving safari. Thanks to the team for showing us turtles, wrecks and the lovely octopus for a decent price :)

One of the most amazing dive resorts in Egypt. Super chill vibes and staff that quite literally could not have done enough for us. My airline lost my bag on my way into Egypt but the amazing team at Pharaoh dive club sorted me out with everything I needed including running into town to get me some clothes to wear. Mo and Mustafa were absolutly amazing guides that new all the best local dive locations. The food on the camp was amazing every night, especially the beef curry and bbq on the beach. The hospitality staff were amazing. Always smiling and friendly, an absolute pleasure to be around. Farid made the week. Always chatty and genuinely invested in making sure the week was as good as it could be. I will 100% recommend visiting this amazing site. The house reef is stunning with tons of life. And the staffs attention to looking after you is top tier. The accommodation is beautiful with stunning views both across the reef and the desert behind. Room was always super clean with fresh towels every day. Have had the best week of diving and will deffinatly be back again very soon. Might have found my new favourite dive resort. Beats a livaboard by a long shot. 10/10

An incredible dive centre. The staff are all super friendly and are ready to help with anything you need. They make diving so easy and this truly is a great place to experience the Red Sea. The house reef is incredible and you never know what you will find.

The dive centre provided a very relaxing diving experience. It started out by explaining all the required disinfection rules and steps taken to be able to meet the post-COVID-19 regulations. We received our rental equipment perfectly sanitized and packed accordingly. The house reef was gorgeous, especially before the sunset. The staff was very professional and provided all the necessities instantly. It was a great experience and I look forward to diving with them more in the future.

The place really stand for the 5* diving center standards. From the moment you arrived you could see and feel how professional the team is while being very friendly at the same time. The Staff took care of your paperwork and equipment while being very friendly and helpful, and they showed you the amazing unspoiled house reef dives. You will really enjoyed your time and it will be totally a positive experience. 👌🐬🐬

On doing a lot of research I chose Roots as my chosen Dive Centre to learn how to Scuba. What an absolute gem of a place. The whole team cannot do enough for you and the owners are lovely. The food wholesome and delicious and everywhere is so clean. And to top it off the diving was incredible. I was thrilled to complete my open water 20 with the incredible support from Sherin Hamouda, my instructor for the week. Quietly spoken, calm and the patience of a saint. The perfect teacher. All in all a great week and a truly wonderful place.

Chose this hotel because of the reviews, they were right. The buildings are lovely, the staff were amazing, and the diving terrific. A great choice for a relaxing dive trip.

We had a wonderful time staying at Roots Red Sea and diving with Pharaoh Dive Club and will be back! The excellent training was delivered in a small group of our two boys to one instructor. Great personal attention for the training and all safety aspects addressed to a high level! The house reef was in brilliant, healthy condition and we also did some great shore and zodiac dives. The accommodation was beautiful with lots of attention to detail and we all enjoyed the meals eaten communally with other divers. The beach bbq was fun! Tips: take cash for visas and tipping staff, pack your own snacks for some variety

Loved this place. Run by the fabulous Steve and Claire. The site is friendly and easy almost home from home. The staff especially Farit and Michael were so helpful and couldn’t do more for us including Arabic lessons at breakfast. The diving was excellent, the house reef was plentiful with wonderful surprises to be found including a frog fish, octopus, a car park full of giant puffer fish and blue spotted rays to name a small selection. Also on offer boat dives and trips to dive sites further afield including Elphinstone. Would highly recommend for singles, couples and groups. Such a great find. We’ll be back. Thank you

What a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, the airport transfer, reception at Roots by staff taking care of our luggage, our welcome drink & being greeted by Claire the owner. The accommodation (we upgraded) was how described, clean, spacious & perfect for our diving holiday requirements (the shower could do with a bit more power... but it was ok & the communal showers were available if we wanted to use) Food was of a good standard & my fish allergy (I know... ironic!) catered for. Communal areas for eating were great for getting to know others & share experiences & tips. We got to chat with Claire & Steve every day which made the holiday even better. Now to the staff, both service & diving staff, we're exemplary, friendly & very attentive. Couldn't fault anything. All the facilities were lovely & provided a relaxing atmosphere. Roots Red Sea is a gem & I couldn't recommend the whole team highly enough. Thank you 🙏 PS... definitely go see the sunrise ❤️
