Diving El Quseir

Dive Sites

El Quseir is dominated by shore diving opportunities. As the area is lightly dived with next to no hard boat diving, the sites are immaculate and absolutely brimming with life. Every site has its own special feature that makes it outstanding, Saleem, Makluf, and Serib Kebir are all unmissable.

Although there are no hard boats the RIB diving is awesome, accessing the areas of the reefs not accessible from shore sites. For the adventurous the caverns at the Boneyard are a must, and the nursery site of El Mina is a fish spotters paradise.

In addition to spectacular local diving, there are additional world renown sites within easy reach for a days diving. Elphinstone Reef is a world-class, finger-shaped offshore coral reef, globally famous for high-voltage drift diving and close pelagic shark encounters. The Salem Express is a 115-meter-long roll-on/roll-off passenger car ferry that rests on the seabed and is one of the most famous, visually striking, and emotionally heavy wreck dive sites in the Red Sea.

Nearby Dive Sites

Scuba diving around El Quseir stands out for its pristine condition, uncrowded coral landscapes, and world-class, easily accessible shore diving.
