- A student taking this course must:
- Be a minimum of 15 years old.
- Obtain parent or guardian permission if a student is less than 18 years old.
- Be certified as an Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Complete the online registration process
- Be medically fit to dive
Description:
This course is packed with valuable insights on the benefits of using nitrox, focusing on how it can help you better manage the risks of decompression sickness while maximizing your underwater adventures. You’ll gain a solid understanding of the advantages and potential drawbacks of using nitrox as a breathing gas for sport diving
The RAID Nitrox course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely use Enriched Air Nitrox, containing an oxygen percentage ranging from 22 percent to 40 percent, to the maximum depth of their highest certification, accompanied by a certified dive buddy.
Certification:
On completion the candiate will be able to use Enriched Air Nitrox, containing an oxygen percentage ranging from 22 percent to 40 percent, to the maximum depth of their highest certification.
Included:
- Supervision of a professional RAID Instructor
- The online academic modules, quizzes, and exam.
- Skill workshop
- Delveop familiarity with analyzing and labelling cylinders filled with nitrox.
- How to and understanding of how to complete a nitrox fill log.
- Optional Nitrox dive not required for certitifcation

- Diving equipment which is available for rental
