Shaab Sharm
Shallow coral garden reef
Shaab Sharm
The dive begins over coral terraces and small overhangs, with sandy pathways winding between patches of branching and table corals. Anemones hosting clownfish, parrotfish grazing on coral surfaces, and occasional turtles provide dynamic scenes for observation. Sandy areas may harbor rays and flatfish, while small crevices shelter shrimps, gobies, and nudibranchs.
The interplay of sunlight and clear water brings out the vibrant colors of both corals and reef fish, making this an excellent site for photography. Gentle currents and shallow slopes encourage slow, immersive exploration, allowing divers to carefully observe reef interactions and enjoy the peaceful underwater environment.
