GASUS SORAYA
As the depth increases, the seagrass gives way to a series of beautiful coral blocks, pinnacles, and reef ridges covered in a mix of healthy hard and soft corals. Navigating further along the reef brings you to a northern corner where the structure drops off slightly and faces the open coastal currents, gathering larger groupings of fish. Because of its unique blend of seagrass and coral structures, Gasus Soraya hosts a wide variety of marine species. The sheltered bay is a reliable spot for tracking hawksbill and green sea turtles feeding on the vegetation and soft corals. On quiet mornings, lucky divers might spot passing eagle rays, large napoleon wrasse, or barracudas patrolling the outer reef edge.
