SALEM EXPRESS

The ship rests entirely on its port side on a flat, sandy bottom. The highest part of the exposed starboard hull sits shallow at about 10–12 metres, while the seabed drops to 30–32 metres. Visibility is typically excellent, and currents are rarely strong, making it an easy dive for navigation. Compared to older Red Sea wrecks, coral encrustation is noticeably sparse. The ship retains a stark, metallic appearance that emphasizes its sudden, modern tragedy.
